Terms and Conditions
GIBBOR Escapes PTY LTD, ABN 62680511899, acts as an agent to manage short-term accommodation bookings for properties on behalf of their owners or those who have legal control over them.
Introduction:
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply to any guest ("Guest" or "you") who makes a booking with GIBBOR Escapes, an accommodation provider. By making a booking, you confirm that you agree to abide by these Terms.
Accommodation and Licence:
Your booking grants you a licence to occupy the property for the agreed dates. This does not constitute a residential tenancy agreement under any legislation.
Bookings and Payments:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival.
Payments will be processed using the credit card provided during booking. A reminder will be sent 7 days before your card is charged.
A transaction fee applies to all payments made: 2.9% for Visa and Mastercard, and 2.9% for Amex. This fee is non-refundable.
Guest Numbers:
Only the number of guests confirmed in writing may occupy the property. Any extra guests or visitors beyond the agreed number will not be allowed unless prior written approval is granted. Any violations may lead to eviction without refund.
Code of Conduct:
The following guidelines must be adhered to at all times during your stay:
No excessive noise or behaviour that disrupts the peace and comfort of the neighbours.
Guests should not act violently or in a manner that causes distress to others.
The premises must not be used in a way that interferes with neighbours' enjoyment of their property.
Guests who violate this Code of Conduct will be banned from booking future stays and may face penalties under the relevant laws.
Property Damage and Responsibility:
You are responsible for the property during your stay. Any damages or breakages must be reported immediately, and you will be held liable for the costs of repairs or replacements. This includes any excess cleaning or removal of garbage.
Non-Smoking Policy:
All properties are strictly non-smoking. Smoking within the property will incur additional fees and penalties.
Cancellation Policy:
No cancellations without penalty once payment is made. Any funds paid prior to cancellation are forfeited.
For third-party bookings, the cancellation terms set by the third party will apply.
If your stay is shortened or guest numbers reduced, no refund will be provided for unused portions.
Keys and Security:
You are responsible for the safekeeping of keys, remotes, and other property. Lost keys or security passes may require a lock change, and you will be charged for the cost of this.
Security Deposit:
A bond may be required to cover potential damages, and it will be returned within 14 days after your stay, less any applicable charges for damages or breaches of these Terms.
Check-In and Check-Out Times:
Check-in is from 2pm on your arrival date, and check-out is by 10am on your departure date. Late check-out will incur an additional fee unless agreed upon in writing.
Pets:
Pets are not permitted unless prior written consent has been obtained.
Liability and Insurance:
Gibbor Escapes is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or inconvenience caused by circumstances beyond our control. We recommend guests take out travel insurance for added protection.
Changes to Terms:
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Guests will be notified of any significant changes.
Property Maintenance and Repairs:
We reserve the right to move guests to alternate accommodation if necessary. If a repair is deemed unnecessary, the cost of the call-out will be charged to the guest.
Complaints or Issues:
If you encounter any issues during your stay, please notify us immediately so we can resolve them. Any complaints made after departure will not be considered.
Cleaning and Garbage:
Please ensure the property is left in a clean and tidy condition. Excessive cleaning or removal of rubbish may incur additional charges.
Security and Damage Fees:
We reserve the right to withhold funds from your security deposit to cover any breach of these Terms, including extra cleaning, repairs, and damages.
Final Terms:
Failure to comply with these Terms may result in immediate termination of your stay. All laws and regulations must be followed, and Gibbor Escapes reserves the right to make changes to these Terms at any time.
